While doing research in middle/late May of 2018, I filmed a series of short vlogs. I narrate most, but a couple show just landscape (including obligatory sheep). Northern Greece is climatically different from the Greek south or islands, but Macedonia is Greece's hidden gem.
I focus on places named in the novels, with a few interesting additions. I'd thought to string together videos of a particular site, but fear it would be jerky. So I've left them individualized, ordered, and grouped into subpages. Due to Greek legal restrictions, one can't take video in museums without prior permission, so all vlogs are landscape. I hope viewing them will give curious readers some visuals, and even encourage a visit to Greek Macedonia and Bulgaria's Valley of the Kings.
(I'm sorry that none of these are close-captioned, but I don't have the video editing equipment to do that. I will try to add some descriptions over the holidays.)
